We exhibited at the Craft Fair at Lake Matsubara
2025.11.09
The other day, we exhibited at the Craft Fair at Lake Matsubara.
Looking back, it was our first event since last year’s pop-up in Karuizawa!
As it had been a while since our last event, I was a little nervous at the start, but the venue was lovely, surrounded by colorful autumn leaves, and we had a peaceful and enjoyable time.
(The autumn leaves that spread out directly above the GURURITO booth were truly spectacular🍂✨)
\ This time we held an “Exhibition and Sale of Works” and a “Brass Workshop” /
[Exhibition and Sale of Works]
In addition to jewelry pieces by GURURITO artisan Suguru Hirano,
we also exhibited and sold works by elementary and junior high school students attending the Kids Academy (GURURITO’s children’s metalworking class).
Some of the children even received orders for their work, making it a wonderful opportunity to see the results of their daily work!

[Workshop]
We held a workshop to make “small brass plates” and “extra small plates”. We also held a workshop to “make teaspoons”, which were specially developed for this event.
Some parents even brought their children with them! We were impressed by the fun of making things☺︎

I was inspired by the conversations with everyone who stopped by and the new encounters I made, and it was a time when I once again felt the “wonder of manufacturing.”
If I have the opportunity, I would like to actively participate in more events like this !
