  • I'm worried if a beginner can make a quality wedding band.
    • Yes, most of our customers are making rings for the first time, but please be assured that our professional engravers will carefully assist you and help you with any difficult parts. For hand-engraving, we will explain how to engrave and practice before the actual engraving. The forging process produces a higher quality ring that is sturdier and less fragile than the lost wax process. If you have any questions during the workshop, please do not hesitate to ask.
  • He has large hands and I can't find a ring that fits him. Can you make a perfect size by hand?
    • One of the main attractions of handmade wedding rings is that we not only measure the ring size before making the ring, but also fit it during production to ensure that it fits the customer's finger perfectly. Please be assured that we can make rings in large or small sizes that are not available in ready-made products. (Corresponding sizes range from 1 to 30.)
  • My ring size is small (large). Can the rings made in the workshop be resized?
    • Yes, we can. We will take your ring and our craftsmen will process it. The basic price is 5,500 yen (may vary depending on condition and shape), and the delivery time is about one month. For wedding rings, the first time (within one year) is free of charge.
  • My item has become scratched up from wear. Can you refinish it?
    • Yes, we can. It is possible to restore the original luster of the item by refinishing it with a polishing agent. The basic price is 3,300 yen (may vary depending on the condition and shape).
  • I would like to request aftercare, but it is difficult to come to the store. Is it possible to do so by mail?
    • Yes, it is possible. Please note that return shipping costs, resending costs, and bank transfer fees (if paid) are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Does the yellow gold plating peel off quickly?
    • Gold plating will gradually become thinner as it is used, and will fall off after further use. If you wish, we can re-polish and re-coat the plating, so please feel free to contact us if you are concerned about this. If you are concerned about this, please feel free to contact us.
  • May I take photos/video for my wedding?
    • YOU ARE FREE TO TAKE PICTURES IN THE WORKSHOP WITH YOUR OWN CAMERA OR SMART PHONE WHILE WORKING. PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE WELCOME TO ACCOMPANY YOU, BUT WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE COMING. GURURITO STAFF WILL ALSO PROVIDE YOU WITH PHOTO DATA TAKEN WITH A SINGLE-LENS REFLEX CAMERA, SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE USE OF IT. (ONLY IF YOU AGREE TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED. PHOTOGRAPHY MAY BE DIFFICULT DEPENDING ON HOW CROWDED IT IS.)
  • Can I take it home on the day of the work?
    • Yes, basically, the ring will be ready the same day and you can take it home. However, if you wish to add diamonds or birthstones, our craftsmen will add them at a later date and ship the ring two weeks later.
  • Is there anything I need to prepare on the day of the event?
    • You do not need to bring anything in particular. However, please come dressed in clothes that are easy to work in and that you do not mind getting dirty. Aprons are also available for rent free of charge.
  • Do you accept credit card payments?
    • Yes, it is possible. Please contact us for details on how to make the transfer in advance, such as as a surprise for the recipient.
  • Can I bring my child with me?
    • Yes, it's okay. We have picture books and coloring books available. However, there are many tools in the workshop, so please be careful with your children to avoid injury.
